Listening to another — their REAL story — is the cure for covetousness.
It’s unfortunate that the God of the Old Testament was so against divination — because if people were Tarot readers / healers who did sessions for strangers, they’d have the absolute cure for covetousness. If you knew half of the stories I’ve heard over twenty years, you would never envy someone again.
No one has an easy life. No one.
Whether it’s a health crisis, death of a child or beloved spouse, loss of riches, divorce, suicide, sexual trauma, addicted family members, religious indoctrination, lack of love, deep unworthiness, insecurity (despite their fat bank account) and fear of death — I’ve heard it all. A few may choose to lie and obscure — but I can still feel the sadness behind their words.
It amazes me what the human heart can endure. Only the strongest survive 3D land.
What’s real is consciously creating the life you want right now.
Some choose to look at social media and believe it’s real. Social media programs your subconscious mind. Even if pictures show beautiful people and places, it’s a gift and life will change on a whim. I have clients who covet what they see — and I remind them that more than likely, it isn’t real. If it is, great — but never the full story. I always joke and say, Have them come for a session because then I’d know what’s up. Plus, it is a merely a snapshot in time — we don’t know what tragedy that person has or will face down the road. The Wheel of Fortune turns for everyone.
I don’t look at social media threads anymore — whether doom or covetousness scrolls. I’d rather take beautiful people/places and say, I’ll have that. I’ll go there. How gorgeous. I don’t dwell in the trauma of the past. I don’t spent valuable time fearing the future — because my best times are ahead. I use what I see to build the life I want — which doesn’t take away from their experience. I don’t need/want what they have — I can build my own beauty in exactly the way I desire. It might not immediately arrive — but will in a way that suits me.
Social media isn’t bad or good. It’s how you use it that matters to your subconscious mind.
Life is a balance — and though I wish for more happiness in this world because Lord knows we need it, I wish that people would understand just how powerful we truly are. Once we really know that in our core — I am a powerful, alive and conscious being — it will naturally lead to more love, understanding and kindness.
If that’s not your jam, sit and listen to the stories of others. The real deal. The depths of their experience. Guaranteed you will never feel covetousness again — and feel grateful for the brief and precious life that you now have.
